Main duties/responsibilities:

• Work with stakeholders to identify and capture test automation and tooling needs;

• Actively participate in the development and maintenance of test automation frameworks;

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts;

• Closely work with the extended Engineering team to ensure a high automation level across processes;

• Analyze system requirements alongside QA Engineers and define automation scope;

• Perform test automation executions, identify failures' root causes, and compile reports to stakeholders;

• Adheres to test automation best practices as defined at the organization level;

• Drive automation-focused test strategy.

Mandatory skills:

• 3+ years overall software testing experience;

• 2+ years of test automation experience;

• 1+ years of hands-on recent experience with JAVA.

Hands-on experience with:

• REST API testing, Postman, and backend services testing developed around Java and Spring Boot;

• Would be a plus for MQ, gRPC testing, and knowledge;

• Relational databases and SQL knowledge.

• Oracle/Postgres. Data models and standards like JSON, XML, AVRO, etc.;

• Hands-on developing of unit, mocking, and integration testing using tools like JUnit, Mockito, RestAssured/WebTestClient, and Spring Test suite;

• Web application testing with tools like Selenium/Cypress/Playwright;

• CI/CD pipeline integration and familiarity with testing suites in tools like Jenkins;

• Cloud tech experience or virtual environments like Kubernetes/Openshift/Google Cloud/AWS;

• Involved in the designing phase of the testing framework and creating meaningful test cases;

• BDD experience with Cucumber/Karate;

• Banking experience.
