Software Engineering and Solutions (SES) Platform Engineering team is seeking an enthusiastic and versatile software engineer with a passion for creating innovative and high-quality software products that allows our customers to improve time to market. The Platform Engineering team works across the organization to provide tools and infrastructure to streamline the development, release, and deployment of software, as well as improve the developer experience by providing capabilities to increase developer productivity and reduce development overhead.

Qualifications:

• Ideal candidate will hold a Computer Science Degree.
• Around 10 years' experience in DevOps, including proficiency in CI/CD methodologies and Infrastructure as Code.
• Proficient in Git and GitHub workflows, with experience contributing to open-source projects on GitHub.
• Skilled in programming and scripting with languages such as Python, JavaScript, Java, Groovy, or Rust.
• Demonstrated experience in software development across multiple operating systems: Windows, Linux, and macOS.
• Familiarity with development tools, notably Visual Studio Code.
• Practical experience with containerization technologies, specifically Docker.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong interest in web technologies, including JavaScript, Node.js, React, and familiarity with testing frameworks.
• Exposure to C/C++ and experience in embedded systems development.
• Proven ability to thrive in an Agile software development setting.
• A commitment to quality and a thorough understanding of process improvement.
• Excellent team collaboration skills, with the ability to also work independently in a supportive environment.
