In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Design, implement, and manage Nutanix infrastructure.
- Perform regular upgrades, migrations, and maintenance to ensure system stability and performance.
- Act as the Nutanix service owner, coordinating all aspects of Nutanix environments.
- Fix and resolve issues related to Nutanix environments.
- Collaborate with the Cloud Center of Excellence to align Nutanix solutions with cloud strategies.
- Monitor system performance and implement improvements as needed.
- Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, processes, and lifecycle management.
- Identify potential risks and provide recommendations to mitigate them during Nutanix evaluations.
- Offer technical support and mentorship to other IT teams and collaborators.
- Follow standard security policies and methodologies.
For This Role You Will Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure management.
- Strong experience with Nutanix technologies, including Design/Automation/Deployment (AHV, Prism Central, Foundation, etc.).
- Proven experience with Nutanix setup, upgrades, migrations, and maintenance.
- Strong understanding of virtualization technologies and cloud computing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Nutanix Certified Professional (NCP) or higher certification.
- Previous experience with VMware.
- Experience working with the Cloud Center of Excellence.
- Familiarity with other virtualization platforms and cloud services.
- Experience with Azure.
- Knowledge of scripting and automation tools.
- Experience managing environments with Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience with disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
