DevOps Engineer

Requirements and skills

  • Degree in computer science, mathematics, physics or comparable
    qualification
  • Experience with DevOps methodologies (e.g. CI/CD, Ansible, yaml)
  • Very good knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu)
  • Experience with containerized applications and Kubernetes
  • Good knowledge of Python
  • Good analytical skills and a high technical affinity
  • Very good English language skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills as well as open mindedness towards new and diverse tasks
  • High motivation, flexibility and willingness to travel

Responsibilities

  • Deployment and operation of software
    solutions with a production focus (e.g. CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps)
  • Administration of Linux and container infrastructure
  • Further development and maintenance of existing
    Container infrastructure
  • Classic administration of existing applications (also Windows based)
  • Cross-functional cooperation with other IT teams,
    departments and plants.
  • Full integration in the international team being responsible for
    engineering and production applications (global responsibility).
