SAP Platform Owner - Manager

They are seeking a motivated SAP Platform Owner to support the operation, lifecycle management, and continuous enhancement of their SAP-based platforms for corporate functions, including S/4 Public Cloud, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), BW/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, and Fieldglass. In this role, you will collaborate closely with support teams, IT business partners, and stakeholders across various business units to ensure technical integration, stability, and scalability while aligning with our IT strategy and governance standards.
Responsibilities:
- Have a deep technical understanding of how these platforms work and interact across business processes
- Operate and oversee assigned SAP platforms, ensuring stability, availability, and performance
- Support lifecycle management, release planning, and coordination with central IT release management
- Collaborate with business units to analyze requirements, prepare specifications, and implement enhancements
- Manage and consolidate annual budgets for operations, licenses, and platform developments
- Coordinate with internal and external partners to build and guide operational support teams
- Contribute to IT architecture evolution, ensuring alignment with business processes and integration strategies
- Ensure compliance with IT governance, security standards (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR), and data protection regulations
- Provide advisory input for IT projects regarding architecture, governance, and platform integration
Qualifications:
- Experience in SAP platform operations, solution architecture, or related IT roles
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, BTP, BW/4HANA, Fieldglass, and ideally SAC
- Understanding of SAP licensing and operating models
- Ensure platform stability, scalability, and strategic alignment in cooperation with business stakeholders
- Knowledge of release management, ITIL support processes, and IT governance frameworks
- Basic knowledge of IT security standards (ISO 27001, GDPR) and compliance requirements
- Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to coordinate technical topics with diverse stakeholders and bridge business & IT perspectives
Things to know before departure:
- Start: by arrangement - always on the 1st and 15th of the month
- Working hours: full-time ( 40h); 27 vacation days
