Tasks
- Design, build, implement, and deliver scalable Azure Cloud solutions
- Collaborate closely with business and IT partners from various industries, including automotive, to effectively translate business needs into technical specifications
- Take part in client-facing projects, focusing on the design, execution, and implementation of backend data solutions
- As a trusted advisor within our growing team, you will contribute to development strategies, provide project leadership, and mentor less senior colleagues
- Serve as a subject matter expert, driving excellence in our data engineering practice
Qualifications
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Scala and Python (min 3 years)
- Experience with data processing in Databricks (Spark) and Delta Tables for big data analysis and horizontal scaling
- Familiarity with storing data in various repositories such as Azure Data Lake, Azure File Shares, SQL/NoSQL databases, and GraphDB
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and microservice architecture
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, test-driven development, and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps)
- Experience in data integration across various client services (SAP, Cluu, PT3, PDiP, PDP, GroupMDM, Datona, etc.) using REST, SOAP, SQL, JDBC, ODBC, SDK, RPC, and gRPC
- Relevant knowledge of asynchronous communication via messaging systems (e.g., NATS)
- Expertise in event-driven architectures (e.g., Couchbase Events)
- Proven experience in performance optimization of NoSQL databases (e.g., Couchbase)
- Proficiency in database management, including creating and connecting NoSQL/cache databases (e.g., Couchbase, Redis)
- Experience in connecting databases and cross-systems (e.g., SAP, Kafka, Oracle, MSSQL, network drives)
- Skilled in dataflow management using NiFi
- Knowledge of protocols like SSH, SMB, FTP, and NFS
- Experience with file formats such as JSON, XML, CSV, Excel, MF4, etc
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred

- Working hours: full-time ( 40h); 27 vacation days
