Business Analyst/Product Owner

Responsibilities:
Business Analyst:
• Participate in collaboration with business units and understand challenges, gaps, and solutions in business processes and technology.
• Elicit, document, and ensure a clear understanding of business requirements that accurately define success criteria and align with business objectives.
• Develop and communicate project documentation to technical teams, ensuring mutual understanding of requirements.
• Define, and manage project requirements utilizing project management and tracking tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT, coordinating and managing efficient execution throughout the project lifecycle.
Product Owner:
• Plan and prioritize product development and feature backlog in alignment with product strategy.
• Develop detailed product feature specifications and ensure clear understanding among relevant teams.
• Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics, and themes to align work with product strategy.
• Mitigate roadblocks to achieving sprint/release goals.
• Lead product-release plans, setting expectations for the delivery of new functionalities.
• Serve as product ambassador internally and externally, sharing knowledge and answering questions.
Requirements:
• Five or more years of experience in product development.
• Strong academic track record with a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in related discipline.
• In-depth knowledge of agile methodology for project management.
• Understanding of business value related to features and functions.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills in English and Romanian.
• Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to effectively manage conflicting needs of stakeholders.
