Objectives of this role:
- Identifies new SMART digitalization programs and focuses on as many successes as possible in implementations.
- Achieve company objectives by planning thoroughly, setting IT goals, analyzing performance data, making forecasts, and cost reduction.
- Represent the company effectively with comprehensive knowledge of our business.
Responsibilities:
- Create and execute strategic IT solutions that integrate our digitalization programs and reduce costs through optimization and digitization processes, aligning with the company's global strategy.
- Take responsibility for projects and solutions within the larger business initiative. Handle business-critical IT tasks and systems administration.
- Develops an IT security roadmap and guides the business towards an IT security strategy; Manage major IT and business initiatives, including but not limited to mergers & acquisitions, definition and local implementation of global standards, and highly business applications.
- Maintain essential IT infrastructure, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware.
Required skills and qualifications:
- Five or more years of experience in managing the IT Department in the production industry. Preferably in the automotive industry.
- Very good leadership skills and relationship building.
- Very good experience on ERP systems.
- Good IT technical expertise.
- Proven record of success with the entire IT digitalization process, from planning to closing.
- Good ability to understand the entire IT structure.
- Completed university studies in the IT field.
