Regional Payroll Manager

We are seeking an experienced Regional Payroll Manager to oversee all aspects of payroll processing across the Europe Region. Our client is a global climate technologies company engineered for sustainability. Through innovative HVACR solutions, they create sustainable and efficient residential, commercial, and industrial environments.
Responsibilities:
• Build and manage a regional payroll team, setting ambitious goals and managing performance to deliver world-class payroll services
• Coordinate end-to-end payroll processing for all Copeland employees in the Europe Region, ensuring timely and accurate payments
• Maintain compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies relating to payroll
• Coordinate and maintain payroll systems, ensuring data integrity and successfully implementing system upgrades and improvements
• Provide leadership and support for global work plans to maintain compliance, efficiency, and effectiveness
• Stay updated on industry trends and standard methodologies in payroll services, looking for chances to improve our capabilities and promote continuous improvement
• Stay updated on payroll regulations, tax laws, and industry trends to maintain compliance with standard methodologies
• Maintain confidentiality and data security standards for all payroll-related information
• Take an active role in internal and external audits
For This Role You Will Need:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field preferred with equivalent experience
• 5 years of proven experience in payroll management, including processing payroll in multiple European countries
• In-depth knowledge of global payroll processes, labor laws, taxation, and statutory compliance
• Proven experience leading teams to achieve results
• Proficiency in payroll and time tracking systems, such as Workday, ADP, and Kronos, with experience implementing and managing payroll systems across countries
• English fluency in verbal and written communications
• Ability to clearly articulate messages with all levels in the organization, including breaking down complex topics for target audiences
• Ability to understand business priorities and align technology opportunities
• Ability to prioritize workload and provide timely follow-up and resolution
• Demonstrate an elevated level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
• Proficiency in any other European languages
• Experience in managing diverse teams and navigate region-specific laws
• Experience in streamlining processes, coordinating with collaborators, and implementing new policies
