Supplier Quality Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement supplier evaluation, selection, and re-evaluation processes based on quality and risk criteria
- Lead and manage the annual supplier audit program and develop a standardized supplier audit framework
- Establish and optimize incoming and outgoing inspection processes to detect issues before parts reach our facilities
- Maintain and update the approved supplier list based on ongoing performance assessments
- Track and analyze supplier performance metrics (KPIs), identify quality trends, and drive root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Assist with sourcing alternatives for End-of-Life (EOL) components and dual sourcing strategies
- Provide engineering support throughout the product lifecycle, including supplier-driven change requests
- Lead quality optimization projects to reduce cost, improve quality, and shorten delivery cycle
Qualifications:
- Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- Solid knowledge of ISO 9001 and supplier quality audits
- Proficient in SolidWorks (3D) and AutoCAD (2D); strong grasp of GD&T and technical drawings
- Skilled in translating user needs into clear, sustainable processes
- Medium-Advanced English level
- Driving license and willingness to travel
