SAP Key User

Our client is a global automotive manufacturing company with an international presence and a strong focus on operational excellence and process optimization. They are currently looking for an SAP Key User to support and improve SAP-based business processes.
As part of the Purchasing department, you will serve as the main contact for SAP MM-related topics, providing user support, resolving system issues, delivering training, and ensuring the efficient use of SAP across the business.
This role is ideal for someone with solid hands-on experience in SAP ECC and the MM module, combined with a strong understanding of purchasing and supply chain operations.
Responsibilities
Act as the key point of contact for SAP MM-related activities within the Purchasing department.
Provide day-to-day support to SAP users and ensure timely resolution of incidents and system-related issues.
Manage and resolve support tickets, working closely with internal IT teams and external SAP support providers when needed.
Support procurement processes in SAP, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, goods receipts, vendor management, and material master data.
Deliver user training sessions and support the onboarding of new employees.
Create and maintain user guides, process documentation, and training materials.
Identify process inefficiencies and propose system or process improvements.
Participate in testing activities for SAP enhancements, system changes, and new functionalities.
Ensure data accuracy and compliance with internal purchasing procedures.
Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure business requirements are properly understood and implemented.
Requirements
Around 5 years of professional experience working with SAP.
Good knowledge of SAP ECC, with strong experience in the MM (Materials Management) module.
Understanding of purchasing, procurement, and inventory management processes.
Experience providing end-user support and handling SAP-related tickets and incidents.
Experience delivering user training and supporting adoption of system processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills and the ability to work with stakeholders across different functions.
Professional proficiency in English.
Nice to Have
Experience within the automotive industry.
Exposure to SAP S/4HANA environments or transformation projects.
Experience working in an international environment.
