Group Financial Controller
Join an international finance team as Group Financial Controller, driving Group reporting, controlling and consolidation across multiple entities and contributing to business insights.
We are looking for a Group Financial Controller to join the Finance team of an international manufacturing company with operations across several countries. The role will be responsible for Group Reporting and Controlling activities across multiple entities and will report directly to the Finance Director.
The position offers the opportunity to contribute to the development and improvement of Group reporting processes, data quality and financial insights, while working closely with local finance teams and management.
Role Description
• Coordinate and prepare monthly Group reporting, including P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow
• Ensure accurate and timely quarterly reporting for senior management and shareholders
• Ensure consistency and reliability of financial data across multiple entities
• Coordinate the intercompany reconciliation process and identify and resolve discrepancies between entities
• Ensure accurate intercompany eliminations and follow up on Group Transfer Pricing policies
• Prepare monthly Sales Reports and weekly and monthly Management Information reports
• Act as a central reporting point for the Group, supporting the finance teams across different locations
• Ensure alignment between Group financial reporting, local statutory accounts and consolidated financial statements
• Identify and resolve data inconsistencies related to intercompany transactions, mappings and reporting structures
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of reporting processes and data quality
• In the longer term, contribute to General Business Controlling activities, including customer, product and plant profitability and margin analysis
• Support the Sales team through customer and pricing analysis and contribute to performance analysis and decision-making
• Support ERP harmonization and reporting process improvements
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial reporting, controlling or Group finance
• Solid experience in Financial Controlling, Group Reporting and/or Consolidation
• Good understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting and intercompany processes
• Previous experience with ERP systems; Odoo experience is considered an advantage
• Experience with reporting tools such as Bright Analytics is a strong advantage
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Fluent in English and Romanian
• Proactive, structured and hands-on approach
• Ability to work independently, take ownership and collaborate effectively with stakeholders across different entities
